A 75th Christian County resident has died from COVID-19 and there were 45 new cases Wednesday in Christian County.
The latest victim was a 49-year old African-American woman with underlying health conditions, according to the Christian County Health Department.
The 45 new cases bring the active case count to 471.
The health department says they continue to vaccinate individuals in Phase 1A and 1B at the Bruce Convention Center and they hope to get to 1C by early March.
Second dose appointments are now being made and the health department will call those individuals to schedule a time.
They are also urging people to not have large gatherings for Super Bowl Sunday as doing so could spread the virus.
