The Christian County Health Department reported 42 new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
That’s according to an update, which shows that increase is since Saturday and puts the overall total locally at 5,487. Of that, 548 cases are considered active and 4,865 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 74 COVID-19 related deaths.
