Hopkinsville police are investigating after a man was shot while walking near the intersection of West First and South McPherson Street Sunday morning.
Sgt. Alexander Cortez says Maurice Catlett was walking at that location just before 8 a.m. when he was shot in the arm by an occupant of a light blue four-door car.
The shooter fled the scene and Catlett was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
