A driver escaped injury after his car went off the roadway and into a pond in Todd County early Sunday morning.
It happened about 2:30 a.m. and Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith says the car went off North Lester Chapel Road near Trenton and ended up fully submerged in the pond.
The driver was able to escape without harm and arrangements were made to remove the car from the water.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
