One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in Madisonville.
It happened about 2:40 p.m. and the report from Madisonville police says 25-year old Scott Mitchell of Madisonville was southbound on Whittington Drive and 55-year old William Gauthier of Madisonville was headed north.
Mitchell reportedly reached into a fast food bag in the floor board and his car drifted into the other lane, striking the rear driver’s side of Gauthier’s pickup.
Gauthier was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries.
