A woman in Calloway County was arrested Tuesday for alleged abuse of a child who is hospitalized with serious injuries.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was called to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for the report of a small child with severe injuries and deputies began an investigation with the assistance of the Department of Community Based Services.
It led to the arrest of 22-year old Amanda Hernandez of Murray for second-degree assault and first-degree criminal abuse.
