Alcohol is suspected as a factor in a wreck Friday night on South Main Street in Hopkinsville that sent a woman to the hospital.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 41-year old Heather Turner of Hopkinsville was southbound on South Main Street about 9 p.m. when she struck a vehicle parked on the left side of the roadway.
Turner’s vehicle turned onto its side and she had to be assisted out of the automobile.
Turner was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and an arrest citation says investigation determined her to be under the influence of alcohol.
She was cited into court for DUI due to her being admitted into the hospital.
