After announcing over the weekend he was leaving Franklin County to become the head coach at Highlands, Eddie James had a change of heart and announced Tuesday he was staying as coach of the Flyers. James tells the Frankfort State Journal the players in the Flyers program left an impression on him and his family and that “the work was not done”. Franklin County made it to the Class 4-A state final last month before losing to Boyle County in overtime.
