Western Kentucky opened a two game Conference USA series at Charlotte Friday with a 67-63 victory. The Hilltoppers rallied from an 11 point deficit to improve to 8-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. Tavieon Hollingsworth had 14 points while Charles Bassed added 10 points and 11 rebounds. The teams meet again at the Halton Arena at 3 Saturday afternoon with pregame at 2:30 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
