There were 42 new coronavirus cases reported New Year’s Eve in Christian County.
It brings the total of active cases to 527, as about 3,726 of Christian County’s 4,310 cases in 2020 have already recovered.
Fifty-seven Christian County residents have died from COVID-19.
Tennessee reported 5,993 new cases and 97 additional deaths Thursday. The positivity rate was 22.64 percent and 3,218 Tennesseans are in a hospital with the virus.
