As the Christian County Health Department reported 73 new cases of COVID-19, local first responders received the vaccine Monday.
EMS crews with the Hopkinsville Fire Department received their first round of the vaccine, administered by the Christian County Health Department, with officials there thanking the health department for their efforts it getting it to them quickly and efficiently.
With 73 new cases reported, that brings the overall total locally up to 4,103—of that, 470 cases are considered active, and 3,576 people have now recovered from the virus.
