The Christian County Health Department announced 31 new COVID-19 cases locally since Christmas Eve.
According to the update, that brings the overall total locally to 4,030—of that, 472 cases are considered active, the lowest number of reported active cases in several weeks. Approximately 3,502 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 56 COVID-19 related deaths.
