As you are making your final rounds of Christmas shopping this weekend, South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council Director Carter Hendricks is encouraging you to shop local.
Appearing Friday morning on WHOP, Hendricks said it’s been a difficult year for many local small businesses with pandemic shutdowns and restrictions.
He says it will also be important to continue supporting small businesses going into 2021.
Hendricks says the EDC is doing what it can to support local industries during these trying times and many see hope with the vaccine being more widely dispersed in 2021.
