Five Christian County Public School students have were recently selected as members of the 2020 KMEA All-State Band.
That’s according to a news release from CCPS Spokesperson John Rittenhouse, Christian County High School is represented by First Chair Euphonium Austin Wright and Fourth Chair Trombone Levi Mitchell, while Joseph Anderson was selected for Fourth Chair Snare in All-State Symphonic Band.
At Hopkinsville High School, First Chair Euphonium Jared Chance Martin and Fifth Chair Trombone Nicholas Laramee will be representing in the All-State Band.
CCHS Director of Bands, Anthony Darnall and HHS Director of Bands Grant Jones say, “KMEA All-State is one of the highest individual honors a high school musician can earn. We are both proud of all of our students who auditioned and put in countless hours of hard work and preparation.”
