A Hopkinsville man was arrested for assault and strangulation following a domestic disturbance on North O’Neal Avenue.
Officers responded to the 100 block of North O’Neal a few minutes before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and a 32-year old woman told police that 38-year old Shedrick Moore of Hopkinsville had choked her and pushed her against a fire place.
The arrest citation says the victim had marks on her neck consistent with being choked.
Moore was arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
