Area schools sign number of football prospects Wednesday

Yesterday was the first day of the National Signing Period. Kentucky’s 18 player recruiting class definitely has a Bluegrass flavor as seven in-state players inked with the Wildcats. They include Justice Dingle of Bowling Green-a tight end-and his brother Jordan-who is transferring to UK after two years at Georgia Tech. The Wildcats also signed quarterback Kayia Sheron from Somerset, who led the Briarjumpers to the 2019 Class 2-A championship.

U of L announced 21 signees while Tennessee had 15, Vanderbilt signed 21, Murray State added 17 players and Austin Peay had three.
