Trigg County reports record 34 new COVID cases, Todd adds seven

Trigg County reported a record 34 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, while Todd County had seven.

Two of Trigg County’s new cases are in the hospital, the rest are isolating at their home and more than half are over the age of 70.

There have now been 556 cases in Trigg County since the pandemic began.

Meanwhile, all seven of Todd County’s new cases are adults isolating at home and only one is asymptomatic.

Todd County’s hospitalizations are down to two, eighty-four patients are healing at home, there have been 15 deaths and 461 of the 562 total cases have recovered.
