The Christian County Health Department reported 72 new cases of COVID-19 locally from Monday to Tuesday.
That follows a weekend that saw 101 new cases, and brings the overall total locally up to 3,604—of that, 663 cases are considered active and 2,891 people have recovered from the illness.
Christian County has had 52 COVID-19 related deaths.
