Jessica Addison, Director of Instruction for Christian County Public Schools, has been selected for the 2021 cohort of the Kentucky Women in Education Leadership.

According to a news release from CCPS Spokesperson John Rittenhouse, she joins a statewide class of 24 inductees, which is designed for women working in P-12 public education who wish to strengthen or advance their careers. Members are selected based on leadership criteria, diversified education experience, talent, and desire to ensure all students receive a world-class education.

In addition to this appointment, Addison serves as a member of the Kentucky Department of Education’s Curriculum Task Force. She says, “It is an honor to be selected for the 2021 cohort of KWEL and to have the opportunity to learn with and from such an outstanding group of educational leaders.  Students depend on educators committed to continual professional growth in order to experience the high quality education they deserve. I am hopeful the collective expertise of this group and the associated learning will improve my leadership capacity and, ultimately, impact our students in a positive way.”
