Multiple outlets report Notre Dame defensive coordinator Clark Lea is emerging as the top candidate to become Vanderbilt’s next head coach. Lea is a Nashville native who played for the Commodores and it’s reported the hiring could take place midweek. Lea and the number two ranked Fighting Irish play third ranked Clemson in the ACC championship game on Saturday. Vanderbilt is seeking a replacement for the recently departed Derek Mason.
