The Christian County Health Department is reporting three more COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the death toll locally to 52.
According to a news release, the three victims were an 81-year old African American female, a 71-year old Caucasian male and a 75 year old African American male. All three reportedly had underlying health conditions.
The health department also reported 42 new COVID-19 cases, putting the overall total to 3,301—of that, 629 cases are considered active and 2,620 people have recovered from the virus.
