Medical condition led to I-24 injury accident

A medical condition led to a two-vehicle accident Friday night on I-24 in Christian County that injured a Clarksville woman.

The collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department says Kimberly Atnip of Clarksville was headed east near the 82 mile-marker when she began losing consciousness.

She rear-ended another eastbound vehicle driven by Dustin Lanfair of Norwich, New York.

Atnip’s car then left the highway and overturned multiple times before coming to rest.

She was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
