Two CCPS teachers appointed to state science boards

Two Christian County Public School System teachers have been selected by the Kentucky Department of Education to serve on state-wide science education committees.

A news release from District Spokesperson John Rittenhouse says Christina Morris from Crofton Elementary School will serve on the Science Review Committee, while Mindy Crider from Indian Hills Elementary School will serve on the Science Advisory Panel.

The committees will be tasked for the next two school years with review and revisement of Kentucky Science Standards.

Christian County Public Schools superintendent Chris Bentzel said “These crucial committees and the members selected to serve, allow Kentucky schools to remain on goal of producing science minded graduates.”
