The NBA is already dealing with COVID-19 issues before the season gets going. Multiple reports say, out of 546 tests, 48 players tested positive during the week of November 24th through the 30th. Some positives were expected, however, as players return to their markets.
A pair of NBA All-Stars are on the move. Multiple reports say the Houston Rockets are trading guard Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards for guard John Wall and a first-round draft pick. Westbrook and fellow star guard James Harden have both been looking to be traded from Houston.
LeBron James will be sticking with the Lakers a while longer. His agent says the NBA superstar has agreed to a two-year max extension worth 85-million-dollars. The deal keeps James in the fold through the 2022-23 season. James turns 36 on December 30th.
