The Christian County Health Department reported three more COVID-19 related deaths Wednesday afternoon.
According to a news release, the three victims bring the death toll in Christian County up to 49—one was a 90-year old African American female, the second was an 80-year old Caucasian female and the third is a 78-year old Caucasian female, all of whom had underlying health conditions.
They also reported 41 new confirmed COVID-19 cases from Tuesday to Wednesday, putting the total at 3,082—of that, 541 cases are considered active and 2,492 people have recovered.
