CCHD reports new COVID-19 related death, 36 new cases

The Christian County Health Department is reporting the county’s 46th COVID-19 related death, along with 36 new cases.

That’s according to a news release, which states the victim is a 76-year old Caucasian female with underlying health conditions.  Thirty-six new cases from Monday to Tuesday brings the overall total in the county up to 3,041—of that, 530 cases are considered active and 2,465 people have recovered from the virus.

Broken down into ago groups, there are 70 active cases in the pediatric age group, 299 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 146 in the older adult category and 15 in the elderly age group.
