Hopkinsville police are investigating after a man was stabbed multiple times in the hand Wednesday during an altercation at a home on Hill Street.
The assault report from HPD says 42-year old Larry Gibbs of Hopkinsville had been in an altercation with his girlfriend at a home in the 100 block of Hill when she used a knife to stab him in the hand, causing relatively minor injuries.
The alleged stabber has not yet been arrested, according to the report, which says the incident happened about noon.
Gibbs was treated for his injuries and then arrested by HPD on an unrelated probation violation warrant.
