The Tennessee Titans placed linebacker Jayon Brown and tackle Ty Sambrailo on injured reserve yesterday, ending their season. Brown, who leads Tennessee with 76 tackles, hurt his left elbow in the win over the Baltimore Ravens. Sambrailo suffered a knee injury in the victory. The Titans are close to getting punter Brett Kern and cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Tye Smith back from injuries. All three were designated for return.
The Titans cut punters Trevor Daniel and Ryan Allen, so Kern should be activated against the Indianapolis Colts after missing games with a wrist injury. The team added quarterback DeShone Kizer and kicker Sam Sloman to the practice squad.
