Todd Fiscal Court makes short work of routine agenda

Todd Fiscal Court joined Christian County in asking the Kentucky General Assembly to modernize its way of funding transportation projects at a special-called meeting Tuesday morning and approved a request from the industrial foundation to help a local industry.

Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield says counties across Kentucky are asking the legislature to address the Commonwealth’s crumbling infrastructure with new funding in some form.

Magistrates approved a request from the Todd County Industrial Foundation to utilize the road department to tear down an old retaining wall at the Glass Door Solutions building, a facility that was repurposed for their use.

In other business, fiscal court discontinued county maintenance on all of Tress Shop Lane and on portions of West Mullins Road, McCormick Cemetery Road and Frank Wells Road.
