Todd County spikes with nine more COVID cases, Trigg adds two

Todd County had one of its largest single-day increases of new COVID-19 cases at nine Friday, while Trigg County added two additional cases.

All nine new cases in Todd County are adults and all of them are isolated at home with varying symptoms.

Public Health Director Jen Harris notes that only three of the last 16 cases have been connected to other Todd County cases, an indication of significant community spread.

At least 328 of Todd County’s 375 total cases have recovered, 32 are healing at home, two are hospitalized and there have been 13 deaths.

Trigg County’s two new cases are a 64-year old woman and a 74-year old man, both isolating at home.

Four of Trigg County’s 350 total cases are hospitalized, 296 have recovered, 49 are healing at home and there has been one death.
