Todd Co reports seven new COVID cases, Trigg five

Todd County spiked with seven new coronavirus cases Friday, while Trigg County reported five.

Five of Todd County’s new cases are adults, one is a minor and health department officials have not been able to make contact with one of the reported cases, according to a news release.

Five of those six are at home with mild or moderate symptoms and one of the adults is asymptomatic.

Overall, two of Todd County’s 344 total cases are hospitalized, 29 are healing at home, 300 have recovered and there have been 13 deaths.

Meanwhile, all five of Trigg County’s new cases are adults between the ages of 21 and 83 and the 83-year old woman is hospitalized.

The Pennyrile District Health Department reports 35 of Trigg County’s 308 total cases are healing at home, two are hospitalized, 270 have recovered and there has been one death.
