Football legend & Louisville native Hornung passes away

Former Flaget High, Notre Dame and Green Bay Packers great Paul Hornung died in his hometown of Louisville today at age 84. The cause of Hornung’s death was listed as dementia. Hornung won the Heisman Trophy in 1956 and was the top selection in the 1957 NFL Draft. Hornung was the 1960 NFL MVP and MVP of the 1960 championship game. He worked as a broadcaster after his playing career for CBS.
