Two people were injured Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle accident in the Dodge’s Store parking lot on West Seventh Street.
It happened about 7:30 p.m., according to the Hopkinsville police collision report, which says 38-year old Glenn Stevanus of Clarksville was attempting to back into a spot and struck a parked car operated by 50-year old Beverly Acree of Madisonville, causing very minimal damage.
Acree was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for leg and back pain and a passenger, 32-year old Jessica Jones of Hopkinsville, said she would go by private vehicle to the hospital for pain in her collar bone area.
Stevanus was not hurt.
