A Muhlenberg County man was arrested Tuesday morning in Hopkinsville on a methamphetamine trafficking charge.
Hopkinsville police were called to a motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of McLean Avenue a few minutes before 8 and made contact with 38-year old Brandon Beliles of Beech Creek.
An arrest citation says Beliles was in a hurry and said he needed to leave and a computer check showed he was sought on a Warren County warrant.
A search of his person and vehicle allegedly revealed needles, a baggie of Xanax pills, two baggies of meth and several more smaller baggies.
Beliles was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
