Pennyroyal Art Councils gearing up for Save Our Stages concert

The Pennyroyal Arts Council is excited to get the Alhambra Theater back open with performances, starting with the Save Our Stages concert on November 21.

Executive Director Margaret Prim appeared on WHOP Monday morning and says they’re more than ready to get things happening at the theater again, starting with a popular performer from Nashville and American Idol finalist—Casey James.

She says there will be a limited amount of tickets for indoor seating, but they’ll also have the option of watching it via live stream for those who may not be able to go out.

Prim says their Alhambra Live season kicks off on New Year’s Eve, and they’ll be looking at new ways to bring the showings to their audience.

The Pennyroyal Arts Council has been offering online events for people to enjoy since the pandemic began, many of which can be found on their Facebook page.  Prim says they’re ready to get back to work in the safest way possible, with full COVID-19 guidelines in place—she says it’s very important for them to start getting back to normal to keep the theater up and going.
