Hopkinsville’s Veterans Honor Ceremony will be 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Christian County Justice center, with measures in place to keep everyone healthy.
The traditional veterans’ parade through downtown was canceled due to the pandemic, but Pam Rudd of Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says they had to do something to honor those local residents who have served.
There will be seating in the parking lot for veterans, but not for the general public, who will need to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
The ceremony is only expected to last for about a half hour.
