Opening round games on Monday night saw 1st region winner McCracken County defeat 2nd region winner Caldwell County three sets to one. McCracken County will face Notre Dame in quarterfinal action Friday at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester.
Elsewhere: 4th region winner Greenwood downed North Oldham three sets to one and will meet Henry Clay in Friday’s quarterfinals while 3rd region winner Daviess County was eliminated by Assumption three sets to none.
