Polls opened in Christian County Election Day morning with no problems and no reports of long lines.
County Clerk Mike Kem says it was a smooth opening.
Kem doesn’t expect long lines today with a good system in place and with 17,611 people having already voted early or by absentee ballot.
Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan reports a few issues getting machines open early, but no major issues getting started.
Christian County has seven voting locations and all regular precincts are open in Todd County, in addition to a central location at the courthouse.
