A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon on US 79 in Todd County.
A witness told Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy David Hutcheson that 36-year old Patrick Eastep of Allensville ran into the road in front of a vehicle driven by Anthony Denny of Ohio.
Further investigation determined Eastep was looking for a set of keys in the area of the catholic church on US 79 near Guthrie.
Eastep was struck by the mirror of the automobile and had to be flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
