A man was killed and a woman injured in an accident involving a motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Clarksville.
It happened about 3 p.m. and Clarksville police say a Harley Davidson operated by a 32-year old man was headed toward Rossview Road on Warfield Boulevard and a pickup was traveling the other direction.
One of the pickup’s tires came off and went into oncoming traffic, striking the motorcycle.
The man on the motorcycle died from his injuries and a female passenger was taken to a hospital and her condition is unknown.
Names of those involved have not been released.
