Over 7,000 have voted early in Christian County, over 1,500 in Todd

Just over 7,000 people have voted early in Christian County through two weeks.

Elections coordinator Melinda Humphries says about 690 of those ballots were cast Saturday alone at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office or Senior Citizens Center.

Another 3,500 mail-in absentee ballots have also already been received by the clerk’s office.

Meanwile, Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan says a little over 1,500 people have voted early at the courthouse.
