Property reported stolen Sunday in Todd County was recovered in Logan County and two suspects were arrested.
Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department were notified to be on the lookout for a vehicle possibly involved and they located the automobile at a Dunmor Deerlick Road address.
Police made contact with 56-year old Billy Driskill of Lawson Hester Road, Elkton and 63-year old Dwight “Whitey” Markham of Lewisburg at that location and a news release says items that were reported stolen during a recent burglary were also in plain view.
A search of both suspects and Driskill’s truck allegedly revealed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine residue.
Victims from the Logan and Todd County burglaries were able to come to the scene and identify their property.
Driskill and Markham were both arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office and Lewisburg Police Department assisted in the investigation.
