Christian County’s second early voting location to open next week at Senior Center

Early voting has been so popular and successful at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office this week that the second location opening next week will have a change of venue.

Christian County Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries says instead of having early voting at the courthouse, the second location will instead open at the Senior Citizens Center on West Seventh Street.

All registered voters can vote early between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday through Monday, November 2.

Humphries says it’s important to note the sheriff’s department will remain an early voting option—there will just be two locations.

Unlike prior years, you do not need an excuse to vote early, you just need to show up—preferably with your Kentucky driver’s license to make the process faster.
