Congressman Comer doesn’t expect new stimulus bill before election

Congressman James Comer doesn’t expect a new economic stimulus package before the election and he has called on eBay and the Alibaba ecommerce company to prohibit sellers from importing foreign seeds into the United States.

There proved to be no malicious intent or danger from seeds many Kentuckians received from China earlier this year, but Comer says it opened the eyes of the House Oversight Committee, which asked those companies to specify the prohibition of importing seeds in their policies.

Asked about a potential stimulus, Comer says it will likely be before the new year, but after the election.

Congressman Comer wants to see a package targeted at industries who need the help the most.
