Former Hoptown Hoppers assistant and later interim head coach in 2017 Keirce Kimbel has been named as assistant coach at the University of Evansville. Kimbel was a graduate assistant in 2018-2019 at the University of Kentucky.
He also has spent the last two summers in Mankato, MN as an assistant Coach for the Mankato Moon Dogs in the Northwoods League as pitching coach in 2019 and hitting coach in 2020.
