The new Ag. Expo Center on Pembroke Road could open as soon as next month as the weather has cooperated for the most part with construction efforts.
Jay Stone of the Christian County Ag. Extension Office says the exterior of the building is mostly complete.
The building could open by the end of next month, depending on what pandemic restrictions are in place regarding the amount of workers in the building.
Those social distancing restrictions will also determine what types of events or shows will be allowed in the arena once the building opens.
Stone is excited for the community to have the building and believes it will serve Christian County well.
Ground was broken on the $1.85 million facility in September of last year.
