Star quarterbacks rose to the occasion on Monday Night Football. Patrick Mahomes threw two second-half TD’s as the Kansas City Chiefs pulled away to beat the New England Patriots 26-10. Aaron Rodgers fired four TD passes as the Green Bay Packers foiled the winless Atlanta Falcons 30-16.
Bill O’Brien is the first NFL head coach fired this season. He was let go by the Houston Texans on Monday after an 0-and-4 start. O’Brien was in his seventh season with the Texans and went 52-and-48. Assistant coach Romeo Crennel takes over on an interim basis.
