The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred in I-24 Monday afternoon.
According to Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller, both vehicles involved were heading eastbound near the 89 mile marker when one began to slow down due to construction ahead. The second vehicle collided with them from behind.
A female patient from the leading vehicle was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Occupants of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries are were treated at the scene. Names of those involved have not been released.
