Former Clarksville coach accused of providing athlete with steroids

A former contracted coach in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has been arrested for allegedly providing anabolic steroids to a student.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says investigators received an anonymous tip that 52-year old Roger Williams was providing and injecting a student with an anabolic steroid as part of his strength and conditioning training.

The investigation led to a grand jury indictment against Williams and he was arrested Monday for prohibitive acts related to anabolic steroids.
