County-Hoptown game canceled due to Covid-19

Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel yesterday announced the postponement of the Hopkinsville–Christian County game this evening. Bentzel said with some players quarantined for Covid-19 contact, the game is postponed until a later date. The delay will allow players under quarantine to return at full strength.

Game tickets already purchased will be good for the make-up game, which according to a Twitter post from Hopkinsville High’s football program will be October 30th.

Meanwhile, Hopkinsville will play a game with Caldwell County tomorrow night at the Stadium of Champions at 7, with First Financial Bank pregame coverage at 6:35 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
